Andhra Pradesh To Develop India’s Largest Ecosystem For Green Hydrogen
Andhra Pradesh is setting up India’s largest green hydrogen ecosystem with ambitious production and cost targets. The state will invest in R&D, skilling, and startup support to boost local manufacturing. A Rs 500 crore fund will back 50 startups in the sector. The plan leverages Andhra’s solar, wind, and coastline advantages for global hydrogen exports.
The Green Hydrogen Valley proposed by the government of Andhra Pradesh aspires to become India’s green hydrogen capital by 2030, promoting the country’s largest eco-system for the production of green hydrogen and its derivatives in partnership with industry and academia.
